Why we still shoot our mockups in the age of AI

Artificial intelligence has made it easier than ever to generate images. Still, we believe that real photography makes a difference by capturing natural light, genuine material textures, accurate proportions, and the subtle imperfections that make mockups feel real.

AI-generated images continue to improve, but they often struggle with consistent materials, accurate reflections, typography, and fine production details that become noticeable in professional presentations. Those details might seem small, but they're often what makes a presentation feel polished.

We already see the potential of AI in many creative workflows and are curious to see where it goes. But when it comes to presenting finished work, carefully crafted mockups based on real photography still stand out. For us, they remain the best way to showcase design work in a realistic and convincing way.
